Familia Geisse

Brazil:

The Geisse family has unleashed the potential of the mineral composition found in the southern region’s soil which is ideal for crafting high quality, sparkling wine. The 36-hectare site sits at an average 800m altitude, is well drained and enjoys plenty of sun. Cave Geisse focuses on mircro-terroir, organic practices and micro-production of sparkling wines made in the traditional Champenoise fashion with a second fermentation in bottle. Mario Geisse and his son Daniel focus on producing just two, noble grape varieties: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The winemakers are Vanessa Stefani & Carlos Abarzua. The company employs an entire family rather than just the individual worker. Cave Geisse offers a reasonable wage, housing and profit sharing.

Chile:

A careful selection of Colchagua Valley terroir to make the best wines. The wines are produced in the Colchagua Valley in the regions of Marchique and Paredones. With these wines,  the family seeks to reflect the characteristics of the unique terroir and recognize these localities, resulting in elegant wines, in which good balance and persistence possess their highest qualities. Among them you can find the Gran Reserva wines, which are part of the El Sueño project.
